Verner has a worn heart, and should no longer go to sea. But that's where he belongs, and he challenges his own health by going.
Meanwhile, the boy Jeppe struggles to get Verner's attention, as he desperately wants to become a fisherman.
Together they set out for their last and first adventure of the ocean.
